Increasing disk space on my pc

About two weeks ago a message bagan popping up every few
minutes stating that we have "low disk space". We have
removed numerous programs, but we still receive that pop
up. How can we increase our disk space? Is there a
product that we can purchase that will give up more disk
space? Thanks for your help.
