I recently had a windows software crash, so I installed a new Windows XP
operating system. Now the main windows screen grid (measuring 11.1
inches)does not completely fill in my notebook's 15 inch screen. I've
searched several online help but did not get any results pertinent to this
question: how do I increase the current (11.1 inches) main windows screen to
the size (15 inches) of my notebook's screen? Click and drag doesn't work.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Miss Karen,

You failed to mention the make and model of the notebook.

Doing a clean install on a notebook will require model specific
driver. Was this install done with a Restore Disk or the retail
version of WinXP? If the former, right click on the desktop and select
Properties. In the Display Properties try adjusting the Screen
resolution. If the latter you will have to go to the manufactures web
site and download the correct video driver for the make and model
notebook in question. Other drivers to look for will be Power
Management, Mouse/Touchpad and modem, to name a few.
