increase in HD memory from 5.75 GB to 12.50 GB suddenely

Does anyone know why I would all of a sudden have an
increase in memory on my hard drive. I am the only one
using the computer and can't figure it out.

Maybe you could explain a little better what your problem is. There is
no memory on a hard drive. Do you mean you have more space on the disk
now? How do you know? Usually, if you have more space than you started
with, it means you've uninstalled some programs, or turned off System
Restore and/or hibernation. Please post back with a clearer post for
more help.
