Increase cell range by percentage

I have a range of cells with values I need to increase by a percentage.

Is there a simple way to do that?

If you want to increase by 5%:

Format an empty cell as Number. Enter the number 1.05. Edit>Copy.
Select your range. Edit>Paste Special, check Multiply.

Make a copy of your workbook before you try.
