I have been having a problem with xp reporting that my free
disk space is 0 when there should be 13gig or so.
I've read "Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 315688How to
Locate and Correct Disk Space Problems on NTFS Volumes in
Windows XP",that didn't really help much because when it
happens I either get a message that the disk is "locked" or
there isn't enough disk space to run any programs and i'm
forced to reboot witch usually fixes the problem for 3 or 4
days then it returns.I've reinstalled windows and run
updated virus, firewall and spyware removal programs.
I want to know how to get rid of the probem or at least how
to find out what, causing it.

empty the recycle bin and run disk cleanup.
Download and install the trial of treesize professional.
This is a tool that will help you find out where the space
is gone.
Good luck -
