Inconsistent Formula Green flags.

There has got to be a way for users to turn off those stupid inconsistent
formula flags that appear in the upper left corner of a cell. I have many
complicated spreadsheets with extensive formulas and have those flags all
over the sheet. The flags are incredibly distracting to others viewing my
worksheets. In addition, when I copy and paste and worksheet into Power
Point, the flags go with and now I'm left with a messy presentation slide.

If there a way to turn these off? If not, can Microsoft offer that in their
next update?

Yeah, I hate that too.

Go to Tools->Options, select the "Error Checking" tab, and unclick the
"Inconsistent formula in region" box, or to turn off all error checking,
unclick the "Enable background error checking" box.

Choose Tools>Options
On the Error Checking tab, remove the check mark
from 'Enable background error checking'

Or, leave error checking on, but turn off some of the rules

Click OK
