Hi,
Using XP Prof./Microsoft Word 2000: While working on a document, my status
bar disappeared. It seemed to have happened around the time I hit something
making the ruler on top go dark an inch or so, moving the left margin markers
rightward, and making my footer text layout go completely off kilter.
The ruler on top is back to normal, however, footer text is still off and
parts of my status bar on the bottom is still blank--I need it desperately to
format my docs. It is only giving me:
Page 1 Sec 1 1/25 (Blank—At) (Blank Ln) Col 45
I've tried checking out other docs in other files, but the same problem has
shown up there. I've tried starting with a new template, clicking extended
formatting, clicking and unclicking the "status bar" button, but the problem
persists.
Need help fast.
Thanks a bunch.
