Incompatibilty with Easy CD Creator

I just bought a new DELL PC with W XP. I saved all my
valuable stuff from my previous PC using Roxio Easy CD
Creator. W XP will not accept ANYTHING that I saved.
Roxio has no compatible upgrades. QUESTION: What program
can I use that is compatable with BOTH Easy CD Creator and
Windows XP? Please help. My new computer is uselss if I
can't restore my work.

Did you create the files using Easy CD Creator's packet-writing
software? I believe it was called DirectCD. If this is the case, you
need to have that packet-writing software installed on your new pc,
too. Purchase a current version of Easy CD Creator at the store or
check out their website for upgrade information. Be sure to install the
DirectCD program. Afterwards, I believe you will be able to read your
data from your old pc. The original Easy CD Creator program is
incompatible with XP, so don't install it. Here's a link to Roxio's
