Hello,
I'm using Proxim 802.11a/b/g PCI cards(8482-WD), and trying to
use "OID_802_11_CONFIGURATION" to set channel while operating in
802.11a adhoc mode. The API does not seem to set the channel; the card
simply keeps scanning over all channels for the "SSID". In 802.11b ad
hoc mode, the API seems to be working fine.
The API is listed as a mandatory one on msdn website -
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...us/network/hh/network/217wirelessoid_4wvm.asp
The driver/utility has passed the logo test, and is available
at -
http://www.proxim.com/support/all/orinoco/software/dl2003_orinoco_8482_2_4_2_17.html
If someone has seen similar problem, could you please tell me
the solution ? Is there a standard way to deal with this issue ?
Thanks very much!
