Incoming Messages

Most emails I receive that were created as HTML arrive as HTML in my inbox.
However, for several vendors send me HTML email, their messages appear in my
inbox as plain text. Of course I can click in the banner and covert them to
HTML, which works fine, but I'd like to control how they display initially.
Can anyone suggest a fix?
