My emails are going to my husband's email address. I have checked the
settings, and everything is correct. Our email addresses aren't even set up
on the same user name. Under his user name, I set up his email, same with
mine. I still receive some of my incoming mail, but most of it is going to my
husband's account. Our email addresses are very similar also.. They are our
first initial, last name, and the number 1, so the only letter different is
the first one. Would that have something to do with it? I just don't
understand this???? I am pretty computer literate, but I can't figure this
out.

Is your account on the email server truly a separate account, or just an
alias for your husband's email account? Many email providers prefer
to give you alias accounts, in which case, whoever downloads email
first will get all that's arrived since the last time one of you downloaded
email.

I suspect that your email addresses are ALIASES of the one master account.
Are they in the format of (e-mail address removed) and do they use the same
Username and password in the account settings?
If so, then AFAIK Windows Mail has a Rule option that you need to set up to
not download from the server mail except that is sent direct to your mail
address. This needs to be done on both sets of Windows Mail...
