Incoming Connections

Trying to setup incoming connection, we can connect no
problem, the problem arrises when we try to send a fax to
the fax machine on the same line. the computer picks up
after 2 rings, then disconects with the fax being totally
bypassed. we checked out the connections they are all the
way they need to be, cant figure it out. if anyone can

Remove or disable the software you installed on the PC that is picking
up the phone, whatever it is.

there is a fax machine in your 56k modem that if set to
answer can cause this problem. in start, control panal
,printers and other hardware,view installed printers or
fax, properties on fax,devices, fax properties and see if
active.
