includes pages

I am pulling my hair out about this one. I am having problems updating all
pages in my web when I make a changes to an includes page on my website. The
problem is; when I make a change or changes the content in my includes page,
it only updates some pages, not all. The strange thing is; when I look at the
changes on my local web it has made them (on all pages), also when I open my
remote website in frontpage it shows the changes made. But when I view my
site on the internet, it doesn't reflect the changes on most pages. When I
published the changes I made sure it published the includes page, everything
looks good there. Does anyone have any idea how I could resolve the issue?
Since my website is 1000 + pages, I need to figure out a way to make the
chenges on the includes page and have it change all pages. I can't make the
changes to 1000 + pages .

Take a look at my website, so you can see what I mean; Look at the the right
column, the second box (Featured Products), look at the first item (Carter
Reed Relacore $28.99), then click on the "Amino acids" on the left nav bar,
on that page it still shows "Carter Reed Relacore $34.99"

Please help!

When you published, what option did you select?

Also open the live/remote site and run Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks and see that correct the
issue.

Are you always making updates the same way, meaning that you make them locally from the same PC
every time and then publish to the remote/live site or working on the remote/live site and then
publish to a single local PC?

I selected the option "Publish changes only".
I have tried the tool = Recalculate hyperlinks. To no avail.

Any thing else it could possibly be?

Have you Recalculated Hyperlinks on both the local copy and the remote sites?

Using your example, if you open the page that hasn't changed, and then save it, does it update?

this problem isn't insurmountable. ;-)

first try this;
go to your site (online site) with a browser, find a page that should've
been changed but appears not to be and hit the f5 key or refresh button
while holding the shift key down. (maybe you're seeing a cached copy).

if that doesn't work, re-publish and select "all pages...." (as long as your
local site is the way you want it).

if that doesn't work, open your live web (file/ open web/ type in the
http:// address of your live site) with FrontPage hit tools/ recalculate
hyperlinks.

Thomas,

When I opened one of the pages and saved then republished then it updated.
Now, is there a way to do it without having to save 1000 + pages?

See if your host will run a check on the extensions, which should solve the problem.
