Include .inc question

I am working a large site where the include pages use the
suffix .inc (instead of .htm or .html).

1) Frontpage doesn't recognize these files and reports
pages that are linked in these include pages as unlinked.

2) They are referenced in main pages with
<!-- #include virtual="/includes/homepromos.inc" -->
which FP doesn't recognize.

Is there a way to configure FP to recognise the links in
these files and display in pages where they are included?

Suggest you change all .inc to .asp for added security.

However, you can set FP to use Notepad to open .inc files under Tools | Options | Configure Editors.
