Include component references URL that can't be found

Gary

I am having a serious problem with my website after
upgrading to Windows 2000 SP4 w/Server Extensions 2002.
What appears to be happening is my header and footer
includes are getting corrupted with double images
appearing on the browser but not in Frontpage. This is
happening sporatically over my entire web server.
However, Frontpage is giving me an error on the file.htm
properties that states; "A Frontpage Include component
references a URL "../footer.htm" or "header_include.htm",
but the file for this URL cannot be found." The header is
in the same directory as the file. I cannot find any info
on the KB that references this error. Thanks in advance
for any help you can give.

You need to make sure that you have installed all FP extensions updates on
the server and that your client copy has all service patches have been
applied as well.

There are some bugs in FP2002 & in the FP2002 SE related to shared borders & include pages
so make sure you (and your host) see & apply all appropriate patches from:

For info in Service Pack 1 & 2 for FP2002 / MSO XP - see:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];Q325671

For the Host/Server running the FP2002 SE

For Unix server problems on the FP2002 SE see

The latest FP SE for Unix that fix the problems
(FPSE 2000 1.4 patch and an FPSE 2002 SR 1.1 patch)
are at http://www.rtr.com/fpsupport

For NT server problems on the FP2002 SE see
