When I click an active link in Microsoft Outlook 2000, it beeps. It won't
open into a browser window. How can I fix this?

Try this: in IE click Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Reset Web Settings.

What happens if you hold down the Shift key when you click, browse to the
browser executable (C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Iexplore.exe, for
example), and click OK?
