In specific document I cannot edit (delete) any text via keyboard

In a specific document I cannot edit (delete) any text through the keyboard,
neither with the del key nor using backspace, also when pasting characters
over a selection word inserts the pasted characters without replacing them.
Does anybody know what-s going on in this specific document?
