In report wizard query selected , but refuses to show fields why?

Is the query you selected a parameter query?
Is the query a crosstab?
Does the query open when you double-click it in the database window?
What is the SQL view of the query?
Do other queries/tables work in the report wizard?

The Report Wizard show the tables and queries , but when highlighted show no
fields available to select.
 
Sorry , I should have added ; the queries and tables open when double clicked
 
I expect you might not have a default printer designated in Windows.

None of the wizards appear to work. I.e the Query wizards ( simple and cross
tab) or report wizard. They open , highlight a table , but refuse to show any
of the available fields. A default printer is set in windows.
 
Go to Google Groups http://groups.google.com/ and enter:
wizards don't work register group:*access*
You should find a solution there. I would think the response to "Acess 2003
...." might be the answer.
