In Powerpoint, can I change the "Send to word" template?

Hello!

I need to create notes pages from a Powerpoint presentation. I know i can
use the "send to Word" option, but i need the slide image to be 2.5 inches
centered, and the font to be 16 point.

How can I edit the template used for the "send to Word" function?

I have also seen plug ins that allow you to format the slide, but I don't
know how to use plug ints. I can download them, but then I cannot figure out
how to open them and utilize them in Powerpoint

I am not aware of the ability to change the template - not to say it is not
possible.

I do know that the "slide to word" add-in permits customizing the layout (in
addition to producing much smaller files!).

To use an add-in, you probably just need to change your security setting to
medium so you can install the add-in. That's in Tools/Macros/Security. Hit
the Medium option there. Install the add-in, then change the security
setting back to high.

I don't know how to change the Send to Word template, either. You can
formate the slide thumbnails in Word, though, by right-clicking a thumbnail
and choosing Format Object|Size. Do one, then select another slide and hit
F4 to repeat.
