In Outlook 2002/XP, How Can I Make Deletions from Junk-Mail Lists PERMANENT

A

AA Smith

When I delete an e-mail address from the JUNK_Senders list it remains
deleted ONLY UNTIL I exit and restart Outlook 2002/XP. Afterward,
previously deleted e-mail addresses reappear in the list. How can I make
the deletions I make permanent, so that they won't reappear on the list
after exiting and restarting Outlook 2002/XP?

I shall greatly appreciate your help on this.

That's one I haven't seen before, but the Junk Senders file is just a
text file, so you should be able to rename the old file and let Outlook
create a new one -- hopefully that will fix the problem. Search your
hard drive for a file called Junk Senders.txt. If you're using Windows
2000 or XP, you'll need to search in hidden and system folders to find
it.

Ok, I'll try that. Thanks,Jocelyn!

The only reason I'm SURE items deleted from that list reappear is that I
once accidentally added own e-mail address to the Junk-Senders List. Since
then, I've had to re-delete it every time I find need to send an e-mail to
myself.
