IN NEED OF HELP.

hello everyone....
im new to the internet thing and dont know much about computers.
at first my pc was fine and was quite fast but now its really really slow.
sometimes it can take 40+ seconds to change a page (on or of the net)??????
sometimes i get a message saying VIRTUAL MEMORY TOO LOW...
how can i fix this problem??? ive defraged my pc a few times and it doesnt
seem to make a difference...
am i doing something wrong??? if anyone can help me i would be very
greatfull.
as i dont know alot about pc's the help i need must be in simple terms lol ...

Have you done a check for Malware. If not use these sites. You may have
too many programs opening on Startup of XP.
