I inherited a large spreadsheet with certain rows colored red. I want to be
able to count the red rows (or cells).
Is there some function that can test for a cell's formats? Or is there some
technique using macros?
Thanks in advance.

To count colored red cells.................

Select the sheet's used range.

Edit>Find>Format>Format>Patterns

Pick the red color and OK

Find All

In the "found" dialog hit SHIFT + End

Right-click on the Statuys Bar and "count"
