In a report have a combo box use the "can grow" feature

When developing a Report, some of the fields are combo boxes. Is there a way
to have the "can grow" feature work on these types of fields?

No, there isn't. On the other hand, though, I don't see how you'd use a
combo box on a report: combo boxes exist to allow you to select a particular
entry, and reports aren't interactive, so they don't allow you to select
anything.
