Combo box size in report

In Access 2000 I am trying to create a smooth flowing report where there is a
combo box, followed by a text box. I have the text box set to grow or shrink
with the information needed to print. However the combo box often leaves
large spaces between it and the text box. Can the combo box be configured to
grow or shrink when it prints?

I rarely or never put combo boxes on Reports. Instead, base the report on a
query joining the data table to the combo's row source table, and display the
looked-up field in a Textbox - which *does* handle Can Grow and Can Shrink
properly.
