hi, i have just install windows vista on my computer previously windows xp
pro, i copied my mail (the folder i saved it in) and now i would like to
import it into windows mail. Everytime i try a way i cant to it. any help?

Go to OE, select tools, options, and locate "Store Folder"
this is where you Outlook express messages are located.
Copy these folders (.dbx) to a flash drive, disk, or whatever..

Now go do the same thing in Windows mail and copy the above folders to that
store
located at: tools, options, advanced, maintenance, store folder.

I just had to do the same thing and it worked perfectly. You may have to
work with folders you copied from OE, as a few of those folders are the same
as in windows mail, but that part is simple to do.

Hope this helps.

If you used Outlook Express on the old computer, see

Install Outlook in Vista. Move the PST file over and make it the default.
Now, in WinMail or WLM, File | Import.
