importing web based email sent items to ms mail

i run a @virgin.net web based email and have set up an ms mail account to
draw down the inbox. this works fine.
is there a method of also drawing down historic sent item?
google does not provide an answer
 
POP clients like Windows Mail can only download from the webmail inbox
folder on the server. Log-in to webmail and move the contents of the special
folder into the webmail inbox folder.
