Importing video

Running Windows XP SP2 and trying to import Mpeg home videos into Movie
Maker, however I am getting the following error:

PG01.mpg could not be imported. An interface has too many methods to fire
events from

Does anyone know what this means? I have searched the Micorsoft site for a
solution but I am coming up with nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Simply ir means it cannot use that file. Unfortunately MPeg and MP3 and some
JPeg files do not work at all well in Movie Maker...its much better to convert
them to AVI or WAV or BMP
