Importing video error

When I attpemt to import a mpeg clip, MM2 tells me the
file could not be imported and "An interface has too many
methods to fire events from". Anyone know what's going
on?
 
MM2 needs an appropriate codec to work with an MPEG2 file, and it doesn't
get it from the Microsoft server where it gets the WMV codecs.
