Yes - The key to exporting from 5.5 is that if you want ALL of the data
fields, you need to set up a header line with the extra field names.

IE the basic export doesn't save phone numbers, office addresses etc.

You can use LDIFDE but you must be very carefull with the DN (distinguished
name) and field name and if they are null or not. CSVDE can also be used
but cannot be used for updates.

If you would like, give me a call in January and we can chat as I currently
get my staff data from HR & Peoplesoft and use some scripting with LDIFDE to
maintain user AD info. IE phone number, office locations etc.

Is is possible to export information out of Exchange 5.5
dirctory, and import the recepient names or some other
attribute that would reflect the users name into Active
Directory? I assume I would have to use either LDIFDE or
CSVDE to do this. Is there any good information
available that would help me setup the process?
