i'm using access 2000. i'm trying to import transparent gif files, but
everytime i do, it un-transparencies them and gives them a white background.
i tried importing them into clip library, where it previews them as
transparent, but i insert, and again, white backgrounds.

what can i do to retain transparency????

You can load your image first into a MS Word and then manually copy and
paste it onto your form in Design view. The transparency will be
retained.

Alternatively see:
http://www.lebans.com/transparent.htm
Transparent.zip is a database containing functions to allow for the
conversion of Bitmap, Gif, Jpeg, Enhanced Metafile and Metafile to an
Enhanced Metafile format supporting Transparent backgrounds.
