importing text outline to PowerPoint 2007

I am trying to import a text file into PowerPoint using the slides from
outline function. The text is importing fine, but I don't know how to set
the font size. The text is imported much too large. I set the slide master
text to the size I wanted, but apparently it is following the text size of
some other slide master but I cannot find it. Any suggestions on what I'm
overlooking?

Have you tried - *after* importing your outline - applying a template/style
to the presentation ?
