Importing Text File

I am generating a csv file from 3rd party application.
When I open it in notepad or excel, the data appears in
its comma delimited format. But when I try to import it
into Access I get this garbage: ⁁.⁌义⁃??????????〬㜴㠳䘬㔬㈬

Any ideas why this occurs and a solution?

The workaround is opening it in notepad and save it in
notepad. Then importing into Access works fine. But I'd
rather not have that extra step.

Hi Squid,

In Access's text import wizard, click the Advanced button and try
changing the Code Page setting (I won't try and guess what it should
be).
