Importing Tasks from Excel

Hi all --

I'm attempting to import an Excel file with a list of tasks that include the
following fields:

Subject
Priorities
StartDate
DueDate
ContactName
Category
Companies
Status

All of them work *except* for Status. All of the values match the default
list from Outlook (Deferred, Waiting on someone else, In progress, etc.)
Some of them are coming in ok, while others are being assigned as "Not
Started".

Any ideas on how to cleanly import these status types? Is there a numeric
value that I could import that it would automatically know which it
represents?

Thanks!

Patrick

Did you export a couple of tasks from Outlook to Excel to make sure your
field mappings match?

Milly:

I did *but* I didn't take notice that instead of "Waiting on someone else"
the status read simply "Waiting". I changed my import file and it worked!

Next time, I will set up a few examples, export it to Excel, and then read
the values that are there.

Thanks for your tip!
