Importing Photos

I have a large photo shoot (3.5 GB) I tried importing into Powerpoint. Two
problems- because of the size it would freeze- so I created 13 separate power
point presentations. Is there a way to merge these? Is there a way to not
have them all upload into the memory when you open the file so the memory is
not overloaded? Is there a way to turn off that virus scan that goes on
forever when you open the file?

Thank you!

WOW! Lots of tips on various things you can do to solve this problem.
basically the resolution of your images are probably much higher that you
can even display. The following links provide help:

Why are my file sizes so big (specifically the resolution part):

And, if you are using Norton for your anti-virus, you can turn off the virus
check at the open of files by opening NAV, going to Options, and turning off
the Office file check add-in.
