Hello-
I reinstalled my OS, so now I am tying to import my messages which I had
already saved. I am using Outlook express-5 and I was able to import the
address book. However, I am unable to import the messages- even though I see
them in the folder.

I am executing the following-
From Outlooks express: File>Import>messages>outlook5 (import mail from OEM
store dirctory). Then I choose "browse" to select the folder where I have all
my messages. But when I hit OK after choosing the directory, I get "no
message can be found on this folder, or another application is running that
has required this application". However, the messages are there in the
folder. What am I missing?

thanks.

Importing into Outlook or Outlook Express? If Express, try posting this in
an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.

Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:
