I have a new XP Pro machine at home at the moment connected peer to peer with my old 98se. Can you tell me how to get my Outlook (not Outlook Express) info from the 98se to XP? I would love to keep my contacts and saved e-mails. Is it possible?

Try this
Go to Window Explorer-Windows-Application
Data-Identities-Microsoft-Outlook-Right click and send to Floppy A .

Thanks David, when I tried that, the only thing under Idenities-Microsoft was Outlook Express. I don't use Express, I use Outlook. My files wouldn't be under Express, would they?

MiMi:
In Outlook on your 98 machine, "File" on the toolbar.
"Import and Export"
From the list, select "Export to a file"
What to export is "Personal folder (.pst)"
Highlight "Personl Folders"
Ensure that "Include Subfolders" is checked

If you have few contacts and few e-mail messages in sent/received folders,
the file may fit on a floppy. Other wise you will have to put the file on a
jump drive, zip disk, or burn a CD.

On you WinXP machine, use the above except, of course, you will be doing an
"Import" rather than an "Export", and you will have to point Outlook to the
location of the file you are importing.

Good Luck
