importing outlook express into another computer with outlook express

I copied the inbox and folders from my old computer and
tried to put them on my new iMac 20". Didn't work. So I
tried to install them into my laptop (PC) at work. I use
outlook at work but there is an outlook express program
loaded thru internet explorer. Still no luck downloading
the emails from the CD into my laptop. what do I need to
do to get this done?

If you still have the old computer, just export a pst
file and then import it into your other systems.

You can't export to a pst unless Outlook is installed..... (not Outlook
Express....)
