I'm having trouble importing music into the Windows Movie
Maker program. Its says it cannot import music protected
by digital rights management. Does this mean that any
songs i buy from Napster or Musicmatch Jukebox cannot be
imported into the Windows Movie Maker program? Is there
a way to obtain the license just to use in the Movie
Maker program??

I have not tried these services yet, but I imagine what the music industry
is doing is making it so you only have very specific rights for playback and
maybe CD burning.

Could you burn a non-data type CD that plays in an older CD player - and
then re-rip the CD and then use the song?

Hi there,

Turn off the Digital Rights option in whatever program you have...Windows
Media Player / Music Match etc. That will help for any new stuff you
acquire via these programs, with regard to the stuff you all ready
have...you might have to download again..
