Importing music to movie maker

Can't import music to movie maker. The tracks show in my music. But when I
try to import from my music, under the audio file extension, the folder shows
empty. When I click on "all files" the tracks appear, but won't import.

Why did you post this question in a .net developer forum? Where did you find
this link?

On the interface that these people use (I've never been able to figure out
what that is exactly, although I think I found it once), it has a dropdown
list of the groups. IT doesn't show the whole name, it makes a guess based
on the last word of the group. So there are a bunch that end in ".general"
when you look using, say, OE, and all of those show up as "general
discussion" in the dropdown list. Guess which one is the first entry in
the list?

Oh man. Microsoft does it again!

Thanks for the explanation. We can blame bad UI now. *sigh*.

They are encouraging people to use the MSDN Forums instead of the usenet
newsgroups. I also hear they are in the process of improving the Forums UI
(because (a) it's so slow it makes you want to kill yourself, and (b) it
sucks). Their desire to build a community there probably takes precedence
over fixing any interface to usenet.

The interface to Usenet was well established long before MSFT became
interested in the Internet. Why on earth anybody would choose a 'Forum'
over a decent news reader goodness alone knows. It's a pity they waste
time on things like that, better spent in developing a Vista replacement.
