importing mpg video

I captured video from a Panasonic digital camcorder thru Pinnicle Studio 10
in .mpg format. They worked fine in Studio 10. When I import these video
files into Windows Movie Maker, the thumbnail immages are inverted. When I
highlight a thumbnail and play it, its right side up. If I drag it to the
time line and play it, its inverted.

See my reply to helpless posted 8/22. I don't use your product but problem is
similar. Follow the steps if you can in your software--
