importing movie from computer to digital camcorder

I am having trouble importing the movie to the camcorder. Video portion of the movie plays, but photographs are not displayed in order. Audio line plays in order, but not all of the pictures are not displayed. I am getting a black screen where the photos should be displayed. Does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?
 
You might try, in an image editor, stretching the pictures
to 720x480. Or better yet add a black border so so the
picture does not get distorted but still ends up 720x480.
