importing ical items to Outlook 2003

When I send calendar invites from my office computer (Outlook 2007) to my
home computer (home computer no. 1 - Outlook 2003), the invites are garbled
and unintelligible and cannot be imported. The same calendar invite sent to
my wife (home computer no. 2 - Outlook 2003) imports smoothly into her
calendar. Does anyone have an idea of a fix for computer no. 1?

Do you scan incoming mail with an antivirus program at home? If so, uninstall
the AV program and reinstall without the mail scanning feature. Test again.
