Importing FoxPro 2.6 Tables into Access 2002

I have an access application for which I regularly import some files from
FoxPro 2.6. I have done this in the past for this application with no
problems. Now today, when I tried to import a file I get the message "index
not found". This is error 3015 and the error message says "You tried to use
a table that is not an index. You can determine the valid index names by
looking in the INdexes collection of the TableDef object".

In talking with the network administrator, the only thing that may have
changed on the network is that they did an MS Office XP update recently.
Does anyone have any clues as to what may be the problem here?

Hi Jack,

FoxPro indexes are CDX files (and if the tables are really old, IDX files).
Is there a CDX file with the same name as the DBF file in question?

Yes, I do have such CDX files. But, actually, I have been able to import
the
tables into ACCESS from a floppy without have the CDX files on the same
disk. Why did it work before, but not now.
