Importing files into Frontpage

I am trying to import a file about 4 meg into frontpage when I attempt
to it gives me the message:
"An error occurred accessing your frontpage webfiles,authors-if
authoring against a web server,please contact the webmaster for the
servers site. Webmasters please see server's system log for more
details"

Now the file I am trying to import is located on my computer what can
I do to remedy this problem?

Don't import it.

Publish it to your local machine. open the live site (File > Open Site) then
File > Publish Site

Sounds like you're working on the live web and trying to import a file from
local machine.... it would be better to work on the web (that is, work on
the Frontpage 'Web', not the WWW) locally and publish the changes later.
