Import Error

Ed

When attempting to import files into FrontPage 2000, I get an error: "An
error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files. Authors - if authoring
against a web server, please contact the webmaster for this server's site.
Webmasters - please see the server's system log for more details". I'm
constructing the web locally on my PC.

I seem to be able to import files smaller than about 1Meg, but larger files
aren't happy.

Any ideas?

Many thanks,

Ed

If you are importing to a server use FTP for large media files
If you are importing to a local web/site use Windows Explorer for large media files
In both cases, when you open your site in FP run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks

No
it just means most host servers are not tuned and set w/ a long enough timeout for larger files

| Thanks Stefan.
|
| Does that mean that FP is unsuitable for large files?
