I have a new PC with Windows XP. I want to import my favorites from IE 5.1
on my old Mac. Can it be done?

zip the folder and email it to yourself ...

easiest way is to go to IE then go to File>Import and Export> then selct
export favorites and follow the directions.

Old computer. Open IE. Click on File... Import and Export.... Next.
Choose Export Favorites. Save it to a floppy if it fits or burn it to a CD
if it doesn't. New Computer. Open IE. Click on File... Import and
Export....Next. Choose Import Favorites. Have the floppy or CD you copied
the exported Favorites inserted in your new computer. Navigate there and
import your saved Favorites list. Works in a similar manner in OE for
exporting/importing messages and address book data. For address book make
sure you first enter the Address Book itself. Then click on
File...Import/Export etc.

No it doesn't - the Export function in Outlook Express exports to Outlook or
MS Exchange ONLY, nothing else.

I tried this and it didn't work. Both my new and old hard drives are wired to
XP, so the easiest thing to do was: Open favorites file in old F: drive...
Select all...Click "move to"...Click Favorites in new C: drive (which I had
to search for under [Documents and Settings/User Profile/*Favorites])
