Importing Express emails from old PC into Outlook 2003 on new PC?

Trying to import my emails from my old pc that where in Outlook Express 6. So
I copy the Outlook Express files from old pc onto new pc hard drive. Then on
new PC in Outlook 2003 I goto File > Import and Export > Import from another
program or file > Outlook Express 4.x, 5.x, 6.x

It then states there are no emails to import (which is true as new pc has
now emails in it's Outlook Express) Then it asks me if I still want to import
emails and gives me a file dialogue box to tell it wher they are. I navigate
to my saved folder of OutLook Express files extracted from old pc and it just
does nothing with them! No error message and no importing!

So what is the best approach to importing old emails from an old pc's
verison of Outlook Express 6

TIA

Firts configure OE with your "old" dbx-files and use Export from within OE.
