Importing Excel table missing columns of data

Using Access 97 importing or linking to Excel 97 It does
not show some whole columns of data when linking It does
not import at all and yet you can see data in wizard when
going through import routine What is wrong?
Execl dat looks ok Have tried paste special values into
new sheet with same result

Access does not like hidden columns or formulas.
Use paste special and values only to a new sheet.
