Tracey

I am trying to import excel file and got an ODBC error - too many fields
defined - what can I do?

The usual thing I try is to first export a calendar folder as an XLS file
then use that file as a guide to create my import file.

Reduce the number of fields to be less than 127 when using an XLS file
and/or make sure that the named range you are using is correct (i.e. does
not include more columns than necessary). Alternatively, if more than 127
fields are required (but no more than 255) - either save your XLS file as a
CSV file or create a MS Access table from the XLS file - importing either of
those.

PS - Am also assuming that your Excel '07 file has an .xls extension and not
..xlsx since Outlook (without BCM) will not import native "office '2007" file
types
