Hello There, I have emails and contact info in Netscape
that I woudl like to import into Outlook. Can anyone
help?
Typically, Outlook Express is used as an intermediary for this. If you are
using Netscape V4, import your Netscape Communicator messages into Outlook
Express (File>Import>Messages. Select Netscape Communicator) and then
export them to Outlook File>Export>Messages. For the Contacts, import them
into Outlook Express (File>Import>Other Address Book. Select Netscape
Communicator), then use Outlook to import them from Outlook Express (in
Outlook, File>Import and Export>Import Internet Mail and Addresses. Select
Outlook Express and uncheck all but the "Import Address book" box).
Technically, you can import everything from Outlook Express with Outlook in
one step, but importing messages from Outlook Express with Outlook changes
their Received date to be the import time. Exporting them from OE to OL
preserves the original time.
